The first page you will see after clicking on "Lists" and then "Categories" is this page. On this page you can see different categories in which you can select when creating an event in the calendar.  The color, name, description, and duration can be seen for each event.  In the top right there is a button called "Add New".  That page can be seen in the next image.

Accessing Calendar Categories

This screen displays all configured appointment categories, showing:

  • ID – Internal identifier
  • Name – Title of the appointment type
  • Color – Color code shown in the calendar
  • Description – Summary of the appointment purpose
  • Sort Order – How it appears in dropdowns
  • Active Status – Whether the category is available for use
  • Duration – Time in minutes (default when creating an appointment)

Adding or Editing a Category

To add a new category:

  1. Click the Add New button in the top right corner of the Category List page.
  2. You’ll be taken to the detail view where you can configure all settings for the new appointment type.
